Ananda Chaudhuri has spent his career litigating on behalf of entrepreneurs, investors, and employees that maximize resources in high-stakes litigation. He has proven experience to devise efficient, scalable litigation strategies to maximize clients’ resources and has achieved successful results on behalf of hourly wage earners and business executives.

Ananda started his career in 2005 at a securities litigation firm, refining strategies in high-profile cases resulting in millions in recoveries for investors, including In re Global Crossing, Ltd. Securities Litigation, 02 Civ. 910, In re Marsh & McLennan Securities Litigation, 04-cv-8144, and In re Satyam Computer Services Ltd. Securities Litigation, 09 Civ. 00093. Ananda also litigated numerous cases involving novel issues of corporate control under Delaware law, representing shareholders seeking a greater degree of control over the operations of their business.

In 2011, Ananda joined a litigation boutique where he achieved favorable results for employees who accused their employers of discrimination and wage theft. Ananda successfully represented plaintiff servers in Olvera v. Mazzone Management Group Ltd., et al, 1:16-cv-00502-BKS-DJS (N.D.N.Y. March 18, 2020) who alleged their employer misappropriated their tips. Ananda continued to achieve beneficial outcomes for investors alleging corporate management and fraud. Ananda leveraged this experience to achieve successful results for entrepreneurs and executives who were accused of malfeasance by business associates and shareholders. Ananda started the Law Office of Ananda Chaudhuri in 2018  and has continued to represent employees and entrepreneurs. Ananda has been appointed lead counsel in two class actions Tague v. Bullock Boys, LLC, 906182-18 (Sup. Ct. Albany County) and O’Brien v. Sagbolt, LLC, 65232-18 (Sup. Ct. Warren County).  Sagbolt.  In Sagbolt, the Court approved a final settlement that achieved a $1.2 million recovery.
